The Unearthing project has got a bit out of hand. It started as a short story written by Alan Moore for Ian Sinclair's literary anthology entitled, London City of Disappearances.
Then in 2006 the photographer Mitch Jenkins began a project to turn it into a coffee table book. Lex records got involved and decided to turn it into an audiobook.
Lex commissioned Crook&Flail to score the piece and soon enough it was on vinyl, download and we were all preparing for a one-off live performance.
I did the visuals for the show and also filmed it on VHS.
6 years and a lot of beer later I edited the footage into a dreamy, tripped out spoken word film which was available for download for a limited time on Vimeo on demand.
Stay tuned for information on screenings....there is one coming soon!
